Wall Street Journal bestselling author BB Easton never intended to become an author at all. In fact, she was a full-time school psychologist and new mom when inspiration struck.
To keep herself awake during late night feedings with her second baby, BB began reading ebooks on her phone in the dark. She devoured every comedic memoir by David Sedaris, Jenny Lawson, Ally Brosh, and Chelsea Handler before her mother bashfully handed her Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James. It was BB's first romance novel, and like any good drug, she was hooked. After tearing through the entire series in a few days, she fell down the romance rabbit hole until she stumbled upon a glorious subgenre called "bad-boy romance."

BB realized that she KNEW the men she was reading about. The tattoo artist, the motorcycle club outlaw, the underground street racer, the rock star...she had DATED them. ALL OF THEM.

So BB began writing down her own stories about these guys - wild, ridiculous stories from her past as a rebellious, purple-haired punk rocker - just for fun. No one was supposed to read them. CERTAINLY NOT HER HUSBAND. But that's exactly what happened. BB discovered that her straight-laced, NOT-tattooed, NOT-bad-in-any-way-shape-or-form husband had been reading her sexy ex-boyfriend journal, and from that day on, her life would never be the same. She took the events that followed and turned them into her hilarious, heart-warming, hot-as-hell comedic memoir, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN.

Within weeks, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN hit the Amazon Top 100 Bestseller list, received a glowing review from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, and was optioned by producer J. Miles Dale, who would go on to win a Best Picture Academy Award for The Shape of Water. 44 CHAPTERS also won the After Dark Book Lovers Shortie Award for Best Debut of 2016.
Due to the book's success and BB's desire to keep writing, she quit her stressful job, dyed her hair pink like she'd always wanted to, and went on to publish four more wickedly funny, shockingly steamy, and heartwarmingly honest books, one for each man in her memoir: SKIN, SPEED, STAR, and SUIT.

Meanwhile, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN was picked up by Netflix and inspired one of their most-watched original series ever, SEX/LIFE!
SEX/LIFE is female-centered in every way. Not only does the series focus on the identity crisis of party girl turned suburban housewife, Billie Mann (inspired by BB), but it also has a female showrunner, all female directors, a mostly female writing staff, and a heavily female crew!

The first season of SEX/LIFE premiered on June 25, 2021 and skyrocketed to Netflix's #3 Most-Watched original series of all time after being viewed by 67 million households within the first month. The second and final season premiered on March 2, 2023. All episodes are now available to stream on Netflix.
Once the 44 CHAPTERS book series was complete, BB wrote her first work of fiction, BAD BOYS DON'T DIE—a dark, dystopian romantic suspense novel that takes place in a small town before, during, and after a mysterious apocalyptic event. Unfortunately, BB published the BAD BOYS DON'T DIE trilogy in 2020, and all of her apocalyptic plot points immediately started coming true. Hoping to fix everything, BB returned with a fun, feel-good romantic comedy called GROUP THERAPY, but alas, the world is still on fire … and so is BB’s desire to write deep, dark, deliciously suspenseful, us-against-the-world romances. Her latest release, DEVIL OF DUBLIN, is an immersive Irish mafia romance steeped in folklore and family secrets.
